Privacy notice

Who we are
LATCH DESIGNS PTE LTD, trading as LATCH (“we”, “us” or “our”), is an interior and landscape design consultancy based in Singapore.
What is this policy
This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data in connection with our website, enquiries and consultancy services, in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).
What we collect
Our website has an enquiry form, and contact links that let you reach us directly through email or WhatsApp. The form sends what you enter to our email through Web3Forms, a form delivery service; the website itself does not store client and project records.
When you contact us, we receive the information you provide. This may include your name, contact details, project address, requirements and supporting documents or photographs. Enquiry correspondence may remain in our email or messaging accounts while we respond and follow up, even if you do not engage our services.
We establish formal client and project records when you engage us. These may include agreements, design documents, correspondence, invoices and payment records.
Why we collect it
We use personal data where reasonably necessary to:
- Respond to enquiries and prepare proposals.
- Arrange consultations and deliver our agreed services.
- Coordinate with relevant project participants.
- Administer payments, maintain records and address project matters.
- Meet legal obligations and manage disputes.
We obtain consent where required by the PDPA and otherwise collect, use or disclose personal data only where permitted or required by law. We will notify you of additional purposes and obtain further consent where required.
Disclosure to service providers
We may disclose relevant information to authorised personnel, service providers supporting our operations, and consultants, contractors or suppliers involved in your project. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers, insurers or authorities where necessary and legally permitted or required. We limit disclosure to information appropriate for the relevant purpose and require providers processing data on our behalf to protect it.
We do not sell or rent personal data.
Storage and protection
Personal data may be held on business devices, in email and messaging accounts, cloud services and other business records. We maintain reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data against unauthorised access, use, disclosure and loss. Where information is transferred outside Singapore, we take steps required by the PDPA to ensure a comparable standard of protection. Email, WhatsApp and other external services also handle information under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and follow up. Client records may be retained for service delivery and relevant contractual, accounting, legal or dispute-related purposes. When personal data is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete it or remove the means of identifying the individual.
Your rights
Subject to the PDPA and its exceptions, you may request access to your personal data, information about its use or disclosure during the preceding year, or correction of an error or omission. You may also withdraw consent with reasonable notice. We will explain any consequences, including whether withdrawal affects our ability to provide a requested service. Information may still be retained or processed where the law permits or requires. We may verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible. If an access or correction request requires more than 30 days, we will notify you in writing within that period of the expected response timeframe.
Website technology
Our hosting provider may process technical information, including IP addresses, browser details and access logs, to operate and secure the website. Where cookies or similar technologies collect personal data, we will provide appropriate information and obtain consent where required.
Marketing and project publicity
Submitting an enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications. We obtain consent where required and provide a way to opt out.
We obtain appropriate permission before publishing photographs, testimonials or project information that identifies a client, resident or private home.
Privacy enquiries
For questions about this policy, privacy concerns, or requests to access or correct your personal data or withdraw consent, please email info@latchdesigns.co. Please include “Privacy Enquiry” in the subject line. Your request will be directed to the person responsible for data protection at LATCH.
Policy updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our operations or applicable law. The latest version will appear on this website with its revision date. Changes remain subject to applicable notification and consent requirements.
